Peat is a natural material which provides a rich substrate for the growth of the aquatic plants while keeping the aquarium water soft.
How to use?
Cover the entire aquarium bottom with peat plates, or cover only the site where plants will be placed. Cover the plates with 7 to 8 cm of aquarium gravel or substratum, e.g. FERTILPLANT from PRODAC. Put the plants into the tank until they reach the peat plates so that they may easily root. ATTENTION: immerse the peat plates in water for 24 hours before using them in the aquarium. It is not a PPP (plant protection product). This is not a fertilizer.
